BARRISTA
Today only started a few hours ago, but it already sucks. I just had a bad morning in court. A client I have been working with for 2 years was sent to jail for 30 days and terminated from state custody. What a rough welcome to adulthood. On days like these I think I should quit and go work at Starbucks. I imagine I wouldn’t be able to stress or feel sad about lattes. Or, perhaps I could be a cake decorator. Doesn’t that sound relaxing?

Trust me cake decorating and the barrista life is not as much fun as it sounds. I say this from experience…cake decorating gets boring real fast and as for being a barrista, well, people are hella cranky before their first cup.

I’m so sorry you’ve had a bad day. Just thing of the terrible burns you could get from all those lattes and mochas, though. That would suck.

Nice… is this a client I would know. I always felt bad when that happened… so worried about their futures.
My mom used to make wedding cakes… Very stressful, trust me.
